History: Richard Brook grew up with his brother
(Jim Moriarty) in Dublin, Ireland. The two of them
were raised a very religious family which would
cause Richard to become anxious when he felt
as if he had done something wrong; in his eyes,
he would not only disobey God- but his family
as well. But his older brother (Jim) would always
find some way to comfort the poor boy when he
ended up having a panic attack. As a child, Richard
was still timid and kind. He did everything he
could to please everybody and do the right thing.
He took up acting in high school as he found
that it was easier to express his unresolved conflictions.
It worked quite well for him, so Richard carried
on this path and ended up becoming an actor.
He still speaks with his parents, but he wasn't
sure what his brother Jim had been up to. His
brother always seemed devious as a kid and
Richard worried that same attitude would follow
his dear sibling into adulthood. He was correct.
Richard found out about Jim's past and
what he had been up too, but he loves his
brother all the same.
